Later, the company entered negotiations and decided to comply with WCAG 2.0.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading subtitle-list\"><span>2<\/span> <b>Tenet Healthcare<\/b><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All Americans with visual impairment sued Tenet Healthcare, claiming that its website wasn&#8217;t accessible via screen readers.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading subtitle-list\"><span>3<\/span> <b>HCA Holdings<\/b><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With over 100 hospitals in the US, HCA Holdings is a prominent name in the healthcare space. A legally blind person sued HCA Holdings, claiming that the websites of some of the HCA hospitals websites had accessibility issues.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading subtitle-list\"><span>4<\/span> <b>CAC Florida Medical Centers<\/b><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A legally blind person recently filed an ADA lawsuit against CAC FMC, claiming that their website isn&#8217;t accessible through screen readers.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Federal law permits fines up to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/adatile.com\/what-are-the-consequences-if-your-business-is-not-ada-compliant\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$75,000<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the first ADA violation and up to $150,000 for additional violations.
