Building Lean Product

Startups and organizations of all sizes need speed, readiness and deep architectural know-how from their technology & consulting partners. Other than the need to quickly acknowledge market-potential and revenue, startups and early-stage firms need to control their burn-rate. Below are some of our services for startups and early-stage firms.

Several of our projects start as MVPs. We follow lean product development approach with 6-12 weeks timelines to identify and develop the MUST have solution which can be launched to solve one problem and generate traction.

How can we help? Our product development specialists will take your ideas and create a minimum viable product following the leanest path. The ultimate goal is to build right thing that solves primary problem and identify product market fit as early as possible by wisely investing time and money.

MVP Services Offering

Prototype Design / POC Demo Development

Entrepreneurs require a verified and presentable prototype to showcase before prospective investors and customers.

Single Feature MVP

Building app or website with extreme focus on building optimal solution to solve a primary problem. Because, chances are that if you cannot find that one killer feature that can stand on its own – at least in with early users – adding more features will not make the product a must have.

Pilot MVP Development

After identifying pilot customer or the test market, entrepreneurs need to quickly build a usable version of the product, that is ready to be produced – generally termed as Version 1.0. Here, time and speed are key for such projects. Such projects are executed over 3-5 months.

Our Agile methodology coupled with the DevOps approach helps startups quickly test new customer journeys, learn to deliver a different and engaging user experience in uncertain markets, achieve quicker time to value, and achieve increased ability to innovate.

Should I Really Build This Product?

Building the MVP starts with learning the problem and customer. During this customer discovery process, it’s important to talk to as many people as possible to make sure your idea is promising. Product idea MUST solve a specific or widespread problem(s) within a market that’s large enough to sustain you and all your competitors serving the same target.

Remember, you might have uncovered a unique problem, but that doesn’t mean you’re the only one working towards a solution. Everyone thinks his or her idea is the winner, but there’s a good chance someone has already attempted what you’re trying to accomplish.

Ask yourself why you’re equipped to solve this problem better than anyone else. It could be your unique expertise, go to market strategy, your technology, or just you being in the right place at the right time. If you have a solution for a unique problem, define yourself and quickly go to market.

If you’re going up against a large incumbent however, take additional time to develop a strategy on how you will compete before you go to market.

Build And Learn With An MVP

Once you’ve identified your problem and target audience, you must develop a minimum viable product that allows you to measure your customers’ responses, learn, and iterate quickly.

Don’t focus on the features; an MVP is about delivering the primary benefit. The worst thing you can do is stuff your user interface with bloated features when you’re still unsure whether you’re correctly solving the problem.

Remember, the “how” behind your product is just as important as the “why.” Dropbox used a short video to explain why its product would be great and how it would work before it even launched. Early adopters were so impressed that a simple video gained Dropbox thousands of subscribers.

Dropbox was able to save time and money by testing the waters with this simple MVP. Your MVP won’t be perfect, so you need to establish a good feedback loop to help you know when to persevere, pivot, or abandon your path entirely.

Lean Startup

We believe that every startup (and every business) should be a grand experiment that tests product ideas against consumer demand. We advocate targeting a problem and then developing a minimum viable product to begin the process of learning, and perhaps failing, as quickly as possible.

Mobisoft has mature processes that follow the lean startup methodologies to help you as a startup. As startups and businesses of all sizes begin to adopt lean startup concepts and release MVPs. Shortening product development cycles and driving down costs, while also delivering increasingly better MVPs along the way. MVP also serves an intent to exhibit product to investors for raising funds.
