java -version

Step 2: Update Java Compatibility in build.gradle

In your app-level build.gradle file, update the Java compatibility settings to support Java 17:

    	sourceCompatibility JavaVersion.VERSION_17
    	targetCompatibility JavaVersion.VERSION_17
    }
}
