The bank can then use these predictions to flag and investigate suspicious transactions in real-time, preventing potential financial losses and protecting customers’ accounts.

For example, NLP is used in virtual assistants like Apple’s Siri or Amazon’s Alexa. When a user asks Siri, “What’s the weather like today?”, NLP algorithms process the speech, convert it to text, interpret the meaning, and formulate a response. 

The system understands that the user is asking about current weather conditions, retrieves relevant data, and generates a natural language response like, “It’s currently 72°F and sunny in New York City.” NLP also powers features like autocorrect, spam filters, and language translation services, making it easier for people to communicate and access information across language barriers.

Neural Network

A neural network is a computational model inspired by the structure and function of biological neurons in the human brain. It consists of interconnected nodes (artificial neurons) organized in layers, which can learn to recognize patterns and make decisions based on input data.

Siri

 Siri is a virtual assistant developed by Apple that uses natural language processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to understand and respond to voice commands and queries. It can perform a wide range of tasks, from setting reminders to answering questions to controlling smart home devices.

For instance, a user might say, “Hey Siri, remind me to buy milk when I leave work.” Siri processes this request, understanding that it needs to create a location-based reminder. It sets up a geofence around the user’s workplace and creates a reminder about buying milk. When the user leaves their workplace, Siri detects this and triggers the reminder. Siri can also answer complex queries by searching the internet and synthesizing information. Supervised Learning
